Taste of Finland - A Midsummer Pop-Up is a two night pop-up spotlighting Finland’s rich culinary traditions, contemporary flavors, and sustainable ethos.
Timed ahead of the summer solstice, the pop-up coincides with Finland’s cherished Midsummer celebration, which honors light, nature, and togetherness.
Held at Hildur, a women-owned Scandinavian restaurant in the heart of DUMBO, Brooklyn, the pop-up features a special collaborative menu with Bronx-based private Chef Lana Lagomarsini, currently competing in Top Chef Season 22, Helsinki-based Chef Ina Niiniketo, known for her modern interpretations of Nordic flavors, and Chef Brennan Taulbee, Executive Chef at Hildur. Rooted in the Finnish approach to clean, honest food, the menu highlights local ingredients and reflects the chefs’ and Hildur’s shared passion for globally inspired cooking. The pop-up brings the spirit of Midsummer to Hildur through a cross-cultural collaboration that is quintessentially New York.
